Grand Vista participates in the Multifamily Property Tax Exemption (MFTE) Program.
At Grand Vista there are a select number of homes that participate in Vancouver’s MFTE program. These homes are available to households with specific income requirements dependent on the size of the household and the number of bedrooms. These apartment homes are open to all prospective residents who meet the property’s rental screening criteria and are determined to be income-eligible for the MFTE program at the 80% AMI for the city. Prospective residents will complete the MFTE Income Certification packet as well as the property’s standard rental application. Once complete, the property will certify the income of the household to determine program eligibility. To be considered eligible for the MFTE, the applicant must demonstrate that the total anticipated household income for the year after move-in is below a maximum income limit of 80% AMI for the home. Eligible residents will receive a restricted rent that is capped at a maximum amount determined by the city for the duration of 12 months.
